The Wentworth Collection is one of our signature collections, combining a robust pocket sprung unit with a layer of both reflex foam and latex.

The Wentworth Collection is available in 3 models, each varying the pocket spring unit count, and all models include a 25mm layer of reflex foam together with a 25mm layer of latex, among other generous layers of fillings.

Pocket Spring Unit

Pocket Spring units consist of individual small springs each housed in separate fabric pockets. The main benefit of pocket spring units is that they work independently of each other to respond to individual body weight. In addition the independence of the spring units facilitates independent movement on the mattress - where one person tosses and turns the other should be undisturbed.

The lower spring counts will have a larger diameter spring, whereas the higher spring counts will have a smaller diameter. Therefore, a higher spring count unit count will give more benefit to a heavier weighted person, as their weight will be equalised over a greater number of springs.

Models available in the Wentworth Range are 1000, 1500 and 2000 pocket spring units, the spring unit count indicating the number of spring contained in a 5’ mattress, a 3’ mattress will have proportionally less, whereas a 6’ will have proportionally more.

Latex Foam

Latex mattresses are naturally therapeutic and provide a superior level of orthopaedic support due to its elasticity.

A latex mattress will allow your body to sink into the mattress thereby providing a relaxing contoured feel, all the while providing unparalleled orthopaedic support to every area of your body including neck, back and hips.

The breathability of latex also allows a better flow of air throughout the night and the resultant temperature control properties should keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.
